Has anyone ever actually received a loan from Georgia Lending Group @ 191 Peachtree NE. I applied for a auto loan with them for $5000 %26amp; they said i was approved with $500 down. However I am to Western Union or Moneygram the down payment to them %26amp; im to send the payment to William Vinson. I found that strange to send money to a person %26amp; not the company name so I didnt send it.

Well they scam me and my husband we send them $1,000 for $10,000 loan, and we never receive a phone call and i call and the answer machine is full to leave a nasty messenger. What can I do to report this. Report It

Smart catch...you are about one step away from losing $500. Why would someone who is to lend you money require you send money to them. Also, good job trusting your instincts on the personal name versus the company name. This sounds like a huge scam. Stay away. In the future you could always check companies out by looking at the Better Business Bureau website, in which this case the company or person probably wont even exist. Also, never send money via Western Union like this, no bank or lending institution would ever ask you to do such a thing.

This is an advance-fee loan scam. You should never have to pay in advance of receiving a loan. Do not wire any funds unless you never want to see that money again.
